FORT WORTH—A local franchisee for Dairy Queen has acquired a 3,480-square-foot restaurant building on approximately 1.1 acres located at 6700 Bridge Street, for a new location for the iconic quick-service restaurant.

Dairy Queen was founded in 1940 and today offers a menu that includes variety of treats and burgers, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, artisan sandwiches and the famous DQ soft-serve that is part of a variety of unique treats only found at Dairy Queen Restaurants. The location on Bridge Street, near Bridgewood Drive, is a high-traffic area populated by numerous restaurants and retailers including Home Depot.
