CEDAR HILL—Kids Empire, a secure indoor playground for all children, has leased 10,527 square feet of retail space in Hillside Village, an open-air regional retail destination located at 305 W. FM 1382, for its sixth Dallas-Fort Worth location.
Gretchen Miller, Emilie G. Paulson and Bryn Carden with Weitzman handled negotiations for Hillside Village on behalf of PREP Property Group. Kids Empire was represented by Robin Barrow and Eddie Liebman with Weitzman, working with master brokers Austin Diemer and Shelby Pedroza with E & R Property Group.
Kids Empire is the fastest growing indoor kids entertainment concept, with 80 parks open and 22 under construction. The locations are all corporately owned.
The concept was developed in Southern California as a way to provide parents with a safe, high-quality place for children to play and explore in a way that’s fun for the entire family.
At Hillside Village, Kids Empire joins a lineup of anchors and major retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, H&M, F21 Red, Victoria’s Secret and several others, including shadow anchor Dillard’s department store. Restaurants and food offerings include Razoo’s Cajun Café, Mo’s Italia Express,Hillside Social, Nekter Juice Bar, Moon Sushi & Ramen, Menchies Frozen Yogurt, Great American Cookie and several others. Inline retailers and concepts include Finish Line, James Avery, Claire’s, Kay Jewelers, Chico’s, Champ’s Sports, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop and, coming soon, Windsor and Miss A.
