FARMERS RANCH—PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, a coffeehouse founded in New Orleans in 1978, has leased 1,800 square feet of retail space at Midway Commons, a neighborhood retail center located at 13605 Midway Road at Alpha Road, for a new location.
Maggie Hansen and Stephen Wise with Weitzman handled negotiations as exclusive leasing agents for Midway Commons. Michelle Foreman with Dave Perry Miller represented the coffeehouse.
Wise noted that the space at Midway Commons worked for PJ’s Coffee because of its visibility and access. “The space is an endcap with a drive-thru, which is a key factor for expanding coffee concepts like PJ’s,” he said. “There is definitely demand for this type of space from concepts seeking to expand during the current pandemic.”
Midway Commons also features FedEx Office, Southern Maid Donuts and other neighborhood-oriented concepts. The center is located less than one mile north of IH-635 and just west of the Dallas North Tollway and offers immediate proximity to numerous office buildings and the North Dallas Design District, with a daytime population of approximately 157,000 workers.
PJ’s Coffee, with several locations in D-FW and other Texas markets, is expanding statewide..
