DALLAS—Weitzman has been named retail leasing agent for Victor Prosper, a mixed-use retail and residential project located at 196 W. Davis Street at the northwest and southwest corners of W. Davis Street and N. Zang Boulevard, at the entrance to the historic Bishop Arts District.
Scott Smith, Corbin Tanenbaum and Addison Gragson with Weitzman are the project’s retail leasing agents.
The retail space in Victor Prosper, a project of Alamo Manhattan, totals more than 21,500 square feet of street-level space positioned beneath 216 apartments. Concepts that call Bishop Arts Station home include White Rhino Coffee, Blue Feather Aerial Yoga & Fitness, Lucky Mouth grocery, SOI Brow Threading Salon and Krio, a casual ‘Asian Cajun’ restaurant.
The Weitzman leasing team recently negotiate a lease with Oak Cliff Pilates, a pilates studio, which leased 1,693 square feet.
“Victor Prosper currently offers two spaces along Davis and Zang, where we’re targeting a mix of captivating restaurants and neighborhood services to support the local residents and the future Phase II of the ongoing development,” said Tanenbaum, an assistant vice president with Weitzman.
Victor Prosper is adjacent to the new Dallas Streetcar line, which has a stop on Zang. The retail benefits from its accessible, visible location in a highly walkable area that is home to restaurants cafes, art galleries, boutiques and numerous residential developments. W. Davis, for example, offers a corridor filled with acclaimed concepts like Oak Cliff Social Club, Cretia, Whitehall Exchange, Lockhart Smoke House, Bishop Cider and many others.
The area is also extremely dense, with more than 24,000 residents within a one-mile radius and more than 157,000 residents within a three-mile radius.
