HOUSTON— An Austin-based investment group has acquired West Oaks Centre, a neighborhood retail center located at 2673-2699 South Highway 6 at its intersection with Westheimer Road. The seller was a Houston-based limited partnership.
Evan Altemus, with the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Weitzman, and Brett Levinson with Weitzman’s Houston office, handled negotiations.
West Oaks Centre features an Internet-resistant line-up that includes Verizon, a hair and nail salon, a dry cleaners and a massage specialist. The center is located on a hard corner in a key retail district that serves a population of approximately 135,000 people within a three-mile radius.
The center also offers great visibility and access from Highway 6, and is located across from West Oaks Mall, which is undergoing a major redevelopment.
